Our beloved Make A Play Holiday Workshop is back as a 1 day event!

In this 1 day workshop, students will work with fellow young people and an industry Teaching Artist to create a brand new play and perform it in the afternoon for friends and family!

Course Components

Acting skills – given circumstances, listening and reacting
Characterisation - building a character from scratch, discovering their back story and unique voice and movement
Storytelling – story arc, story building
Stagecraft – spatial awareness on stage
Collaboration / group work / ensemble building
Vocal techniques – the basics of voice projection, diction and clarity
Movement skills – introduction to stage physicality and movement
Confidence building through performance in a fun and safe environment
