Sing, dance, act!

In this 1 day workshop, students will work with performer and teaching artist, Cerise Kofoed, to explore musical theatre techniques and create a fun performance for family and friends.

Course Components

• Build confidence in singing, dancing, and acting through musical theatre exercises.
• Develop vocal technique, expression, and projection for musical performance.
• Learn and perform simple choreography, focusing on timing and storytelling through movement.
• Strengthen ensemble skills, including active listening, collaboration, and spatial awareness.
• Rehearse and perform a short musical theatre piece for an invited audience.
• Gain experience in character development and bringing a story to life on stage.

Age group: Students in School Years 3-6

Venue: Storey Park Community Centre, 12 Old Berowra Rd, Hornsby, NSW

Date: Friday, 11th July

Time: 9:30am - 4pm

End of Day Performance

Time: 3:30pm*

Students will perform a short rehearsed piece at the end of the day for family and friends! *Please note that the time is subject to change. Any updates will be communicated to families via email.
