Make a Play in 3 days!

In this 3 full day workshop, students will work with fellow young people and an industry Teaching Artist to create a brand new play and perform it in the afternoon for friends and family! This Holiday Theme is: AUTUMN ADVENTURES!

Course Components

• Acting skills – given circumstances, listening and reacting
• Characterisation - building a character from scratch, discovering their back story and unique voice and movement
• Storytelling – story arc, story building
• Stagecraft – spatial awareness on stage
• Collaboration / group work / ensemble building
• Vocal techniques – the basics of voice projection, diction and clarity
• Movement skills – introduction to stage physicality and movement
• Confidence building through performance in a fun and safe environment
