Our beloved Make A Play Holiday Workshop is back as a 1 day event!

In this 1 day workshop, students will work with fellow young people and an industry Teaching Artist to create a brand new play and perform it in the afternoon for friends and family!

Course Components

• Acting skills – given circumstances, listening and reacting
• Characterisation - building a character from scratch, discovering their back story and unique voice and movement
• Storytelling – story arc, story building
• Stagecraft – spatial awareness on stage
• Collaboration / group work / ensemble building
• Vocal techniques – the basics of voice projection, diction and clarity
• Movement skills – introduction to stage physicality and movement
• Confidence building through performance in a fun and safe environment

Age group: Students in School Years 3-6

End of Day Performance

Time: 3:30pm*

Students will perform their brand new play at the end of the day for family and friends! *Please note that the time is subject to change. Any updates will be communicated to families via email.
