AS YOU LIKE IT: Youth Residency Workshop and Performance KILLARA
'All the world's a stage'
(Jaques, Act 2 Scene 7)
In this week, join a professional teaching artist and an outstanding group of young people to explore Shakespeare's 'As You Like It' in MSTYP's 2025 Youth Residency.
This play is one of Shakespeare's popular comedies and continues to be included in the NSW English Syllabus.
Come on a journey through the Forest of Arden for a tale of love, disguise and reconciliation. During the week you'll unpack the play, and examine the world, characters and themes. Then you stage it!
The residency culminates in a 1hr performance of scenes from the play for an audience of friends and family.
If you saw last year's A Midsummer Night's Dream Youth Residency Performance, held under the stars, you'll know what a magical experience this is.

Relevant Feedback
It’s such a great experience for the teenagers to learn and apply the acting skills and knowledge. I can see them shine while performing, definitely a best use of the school holiday.
