New and continuing students. No experience necessary

Youth and theatre come together. A ‘lab’ style weekly session driven entirely by the creativity of the students. Guided by a professional Teaching Artist, young people follow their artistic noses to make, create and socialise. 

Course components

• Work with other young people on your own projects and ideas
• Guide the creative process facilitated by a professional artist
• Work collaboratively and build an ensemble, collaborating with others and developing trust
• Gain confidence by working in a fun, creative and spontaneous environment
• Develop your craft by building on your own ideas and those of others

Performances

There are no formal performance outcomes for this course but material will be presented based on the needs and wishes of the group, and what is developed in class.

Cost

TERM                                          $300 for 8 sessions

Discount for Additional Classes

Most young people in the Friday Lab are in a regular weekly drama class. If your child wants to do more than one class in the same term (eg Youth Ensemble and Friday Night Lab), use the discount code 'MULTICLASS' and get another $50 off your additional class. Offer not available for siblings, and valid only for weekly classes in the same term
