Our beloved Make A Play Holiday Workshop with a comedic twist!

In the month of April fools, come and join us to create a brand new play in the comedy genre!

During the 5 day workshop, students will work with fellow young people and an industry Teaching Artist to devise a brand new piece of theatre, which will be performed on the Friday!

Course Components

• Acting skills – characterisation, listening and reacting
• Storytelling – story arc, story building,
• Stagecraft
• Collaboration / group work / ensemble building
• Vocal techniques – the basics of voice projection and well as diction and clarity
• Movement skills – introduction to stage physicality and movement
• Confidence building through performance in a fun and safe environment

Time: 9:30am - 12:30pm daily

Please use the street parking, there are many parks available! Please do NOT park on St Martins Church Driveway.

Short Performance on Friday

The performance will be between 15-20 minutes. This will happen in the last hour on Friday, with the exact time to be confirmed during the week.

1. comfortable clothing to move about in
2. a bottle of water
3. a healthy snack (no nuts please), avoiding the use of disposable packaging.
