Weekly drama classes for new and continuing students.

Learn to act, create and perform. Develop creativity, confidence and collaboration through drama. 

Every week, students work with a professional Teaching Artist to build acting, performance and creative skills, whilst also developing a deeper understanding of the world and of themselves.

K-3 class focus is: Storytelling through Performance

Our K-3 classes discover the art of storytelling through performance. Together they explore and create using their bodies, voice and imaginations. The students build their confidence and creative expression whilst developing their performance skills through improvisation, devising and retelling of stories.

Class components

• Introduction to the elements of drama and storytelling

• Discover elements of theatre and performance

• Use creative and investigative thinking to create characters and scenes

• Create and stage stories using dramatic skills

• Working with others and collaboration skills

• Using your voice and body - confidence, diction, projection, body awareness

No experience necessary.

Class Details

DAY        3 - 4pm, Tuesdays, one class a week

LOCATION Asquith Public School, 3 Dudley St, Asquith, Sydney - this class accepts students both at Asquith Public School and from other schools

TRIAL CLASS   Available for the first 3 weeks of term. When booking select 'Pay a Deposit' to reserve your place.

Performances

There is an Open Studio at the end of Term 2, and an informal performance at the end of Term 4.

Cost

TERM                                          $225 for 9 weeks (1 term)

TRIAL CLASSES                        $25 - Select 'Pay a Deposit' to book.

Do another class?

If your child wants to do more than one class in the same term, use the discount code 'MULTICLASS' and get $50 off your additional class. Offer not available for siblings, and valid only for weekly classes in the same term.
